In the gully west of the Gully of Higher Education is a nice finger/hand crack that faces west. It is visible from the road. It looks uglier than it really is. Finger locks and happiness abound at this location. The book gives this a 5.7 rating.

1 chain at the top. Bring a large nut to set up the anchors. It protects well with large to medium gear

Much shorter than the 60ft advertised here. Maybe more like 30-40ft. May 18, 2013

I thought that the pro was a little tricky but the climb was so easy it doesn't make much of a difference. Also it is topropeable if you walk up around the left. Jul 6, 2006

Fun beginner trad route. It seems easier than 5.7. It's laid back, and easy climbing. Jul 20, 2005
