Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Description

The 2nd climb that you come to (they share anchors). An introduction to Industrial Wall, smears and some edges, up to a roof and over. Finish up on a small arete.

Protection

2 bots up top for the anchors and 6 draws for the climb. I believe a runner is needed for the roof.

Great climb. The first bolt is pretty high for a beginner leader, but the climbing is pretty mellow up to it. This one felt much easier than other 5.7 on the far left of the wall. Jul 31, 2015

This is a wonderful 5.7 granite sport climb - a rarity in LCC. No long runners are needed. Great warmup or lead for the beginning leader. Aug 21, 2004
