This climb is on the first nice west face, up the gully. To attain the beginning, scramble up a dihedral and gain the ledge just up gully from the start. Scramble down to the base of the climbs. This climbs the left bolted line. Nice balancey moves to start off, turning reachy and then blind holds over the roof. After clipping the 3rd bolt, make a beeline for the anchors. This makes for a fun traversing roof pull.

2 bolts for anchors, and 3 draws. I also placed a medium-small nut for the initial moves. Rappell off

You can rap back to the ground with a 60M to avoid down climbing the gully. Apr 22, 2016

Rather than approaching Big Man on Campus (and The Graduate) from the “dihedral” mentioned in the OP - which really is a steep chossy looking gully, a more comfortable belay and arguably better start is to climb the routes from the ground next to a huge oak tree. A new bolt protects 5.2 climbing up a series of clean steps to another new bolt and the original lines. As mentioned by BrokenChairs, a 60 meter rope will suffice to set up a sling-shot belay/rappel. Whoever took the anchor from the Big man on campus anchors I'd really like to get that back... PM me if you have it. May 24, 2018
I'm confused. Did someone take the gear you left at the anchors on top of the route? Or did someone actually remove the bolts, chains, etc that comprise the anchor? May 25, 2018

I climbed this 5/17 and there were 2 biners at the top (we left them in place). Made it very convenient to lower off since there was only 1 link of chain on both anchor bolts. May 25, 2018

Sorry should've clarified. The carabiners are still there on the existing chains, but I had to leave a TR anchor up there because of a thunderstorm rolling in on us. May 29, 2018
Great. I hope you get your biner back. Now please go delete your request from the 5 other places you posted it.

Holy cow you guys from Jersey are serious about your carabiners, lol. May 29, 2018

I hope to get three locking carabiners and a double length sling back! I think anyone would be serious about losing $25 of gear for no good reason. May 29, 2018
Ever hear of booty?

It's one thing to politely ask for gear back. It's another to be pissed about it instead of taking responsiblity for your own actions. May 29, 2018
Oh dear. We don’t blame you for wanting your stuff. Thank you for clarifying that the anchor is still there. My comment was a test of whether or not you can take a good natured hint that maybe 4 posts was overkill.

No harm intended. All my other friends from Jersey would have had a much funnier comeback, mixing their pain with deep sarcasm and/or a dose of self loathing. Please don’t make me buy you a beer to soothe your feelings. May 29, 2018

Oh so you were testing me! And here I thought your reading comprehension was lacking. May 29, 2018
