Description

I believe this route climbs a short hand crack that you reach by clambering onto a 15-20 foot high ledge on the north face of Challenge. It is a short but fun hand crack.

Protection

Bring gear for your anchors, and medium gear for the lead.

Fun route if you combine the original pitch with the short chimney pitch above the original line. Great beginner chimney for those looking for practice with them. Can rappel from the anchor above the chimney all the way back to the ground with one 70m rope. Otherwise one 60m will surely get you back down from the top of the original pitch. Jul 18, 2017
