The 5th line of bolts from the left. This climb has a thin beginning but eases up after the 2nd bolt. Well protected and enjoyable.

5 Quickdraws, plus 2 for the anchors.

The name is a bit misleading, because all of the holds are reachable with good footwork. Most of the action occurs over the first three clips: jug hauls, laybacks, and an interesting mantle between bolts 2 and 3, requiring good balance. The last 30 feet is run out, but the holds are bomber. Jul 1, 2004

awesome route really fun moves 1st bolt kinda sucked and a little tricky between bolt 2 and 3(crux for me) but not super hard. The rest of this route is classic super great feet and hands. bring long slings for the chains. Apr 18, 2010

I think this has 7 bolts plus two anchors. The description says 5. May 18, 2016

A bolt has been added to the bottom of this route, its close enough to the ground that botching the second clip will probably still result in a ground fall. Would have been better to put the effort into replacing the original first bolt which could be easily stick clipped. Jun 1, 2016

Stan, the same could be said of MOST sport routes. Jun 2, 2016

Stan the man, if that is the case, then why didn't you take the time and effort to go out do it "properly" ? Jun 2, 2016

Great climb, and possibly the only on this crag whose rating is accurate. This had just enough slab/jug ratio to keep things at 5.9. This was the only route I truly enjoyed at the Iron Curtain, and I would definitely recommend it. Do extend your anchor to avoid rope drag though (good time to pull out your 20 ft. cordelette).
