Description

Follow the easy, right-leaning crack just right of the cleft (the beginning of Kermit Crack). About 15-18 feet up, begin angling left at a 45 degree angle towards a bulge. the bulge is smoother and more overhanging than you think. Go over the bulge and you are at the anchors.

The route shown on the good Topo Photo is "Step Aside Direct". The actual route "Step Aside" follows "Kermit Crack" initially before cutting across to the left. Mar 6, 2004
