A nice long face climb ascending the center of Rainbow Wall. Climb straight up, placing a small cam before the first bolt. Continue up (5.8), and head slightly left about 10 feet below the belay. Watch out for loose rock and genuine runouts.

6 bolts + 1 small nut or cam placement. May want to bring burner sling to back up rappel slings.

This route is actually 2 pitches. Continue up after first anchor past 3 more bolts to top. Serious lead for second pitch. Jul 20, 2009
