Dyno-saur

V4, TR, Boulder, 30 ft (9 m), Grade V,  Avg: 3 from 5 votes
FA: unknown
California > Central Coast > San Luis Obispo > Bishop Peak > Bishop Peak Bo… > Potato

Description

This route starts on the eastern face of the boulder and is probably the steepest route on Potato. It's namesake comes from the first move at the start, in which you start on a nasty side pull and dyno up to a bomber hold with your right hand. After the first ten feet of pumpy moves, the rest of the climb is real technical, with tiny ledges and crimpers. Also this rock is really sharp, so be prepared for some sensitive/bloody fingers after climbing this.

Protection

Two bolts above this route that can be used to set up a TR. Take long webbing if you want to back up these two bolts since they seem to be all randomly dispersed on top of this rock.

[Hide Comment] The dyno is not at all necessary and probably is not the easiest beta. Definitely dyno for full value though. Mar 26, 2021
