Description

The Spoon has on=e directive. How much can you scare yourself mantling 10 feet off the ground? Many a beached whale have been spotted here, as solid hands lead to highball sketchyness to pull you over the top.

This route is on the downhill side of the boulder, check the photo.

Protection

At the end do a left heel hook, go to a right hand hold then match, mantle with right to top out. Aug 17, 2016
Dave Diegelman broke his arm falling off the mantle, while Augie Klein and I unsuccessfully spotted him (1975?). No crash pads back then. Jul 31, 2016
