Description

Start up the crack that forms the lower portion of the "Tree Surgeon" (5.10a), then exit up and right onto the overhanging arete that forms the crux of the climb. The hardest moves are found on the last ten feet.

Protection

Pro. to 21/2 inches to protect the initial crack section; quick draws for the overhanging arete that follows.
