Just for some clarification, because I really want to get the V5 properly. If you followed the line from the first holds, there are a few other holds on that lip. Then there is a definite jump to higher holds that are all super good, which is definitely off for the V5. What parts are on and off for the V5 variation?

Isn't the V6 the opposition side pulls in the middle section? After that it gets easier and the easier ending is part of the standard DD traverse. Think the V5 consists of those two center moves which lets you connect with the easier standard stuff. Oct 24, 2017
According to Jeremy Meigs, the key hold at the crux is way smaller than it used to be. I worked it on Monday, felt at least V6. May 9, 2018
