Description

A hard start on loose rock leads up to the first bolt, and then into a really slippery sloper move up to the slab. This links up to the second bolt of the Seagull Arete (5.6) via some easy moves on the slab on garbage rock. Climbing on the upper section of Seagull Arete is 5.0, if that.

This is just right of Seagull Arete.

Protection

4 bolts to the 3 bolt top anchor at the top of the rock. A pile of crashpads and a attentative spotter will help get you to the first bolt.

[Hide Comment] The beginning of this route holds a lot of promise. Unfortunately it quickly turns into a lame slab climb on crumbling rock. It is an easy slab, the 15 foot run out sucks when you are not sure the rock is going to hold together under your feet. Mar 24, 2004

[Hide Comment] "a lame slab climb" - hmm? i just traversed left to the arete and avoided most of the dirty, crumbly slab climbing - it was fine for me. fun route. Sep 2, 2010
