Feelin' Your Oats

Description

Fun climb with plenty of opportunities to make it harder than it needs to be, primarily by going further right whenever you see fit.

Protection

3 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor shared with Better Eat Your Wheaties. Also, the same hurt-full trees beneath Better Eat Your Wheaties are also beneath this climb. If you lowered a climber into the trees before, don't do it again. For they will be angry... (you again)

[Hide Comment] The hangers on this route have been hammered flat. I don't know if you can get a quick-draw through them, and I doubt you should trust them. Jun 1, 2009

[Hide Comment] 3/5/10 Thanks to the efforts of ASCA and mssrs. Dodrill, Summit, Stanton, Hood, and Maguire for replacing anchors, damaged hardware and restoring the route. Great job !!! Mar 7, 2010

[Hide Comment] This route was established free solo (probably in headpoint style), by Armin Fisher. He came back later and put in the three lead bolts.

All bolts are new 1/2" stainless steel. Please don't hammer them flat again. Sack up and style it. Mar 12, 2010

[Hide Comment] R rating mostly due to the high first bolt, but it's not bad getting to it. As already stated, you can easily make this climb harder or easier depending on how you go about it, especially around the 2nd bolt. Thanks to the team for the nice 1/2" bolts. Jun 27, 2016

[Hide Comment] New bolts all over the place make this look like a totally safe lead these days. Move over the roof is probably a little height-dependent.
Its easy to climb Cereal Killer and set up a top rope on these lines. Apr 19, 2022
