Four bolts to a bolted anchor

A really cool route. A neat start on good holds leads to a steep and thin crux and then pleasant, yet not easy climbing to the top. Well worth doing. Jun 15, 2005

On 12/7/10, the ASCA replaced all four pro bolts and the shared anchor on this route with 1/2" x 2.75" SS 5-piece. The new anchor is equipped with quicklinks and rap rings. Dec 7, 2010

The anchors have been fitted with durable, long-term lower-off hardware courtesy of the ASCA. Someone replaced the second pro bolt with a glue-in (and much too closely to the first one, I might add). However, the old pro bolt is still there, spinning in its hole. Some large pliers or a vice grip might be required as entire assembly spins and the stud won't come out. Jan 1, 2019
