Jacob's Ladder and Phat. For Phat, the books have slightly different descriptions - take your pick - use the corner; don't use either corner on the lower section; join Jacob's Ladder or The Bone above the ledge; join The Bone and finish on Magic Holds.

[Hide Comment] By the overhang on this route, do you mean the one right before the exit? That is a lot higher than 35ft up... Personally, I believe this route has 2 cruxes, the overhang and the crack in the corner right above the large ledge... the later being more awkward than difficult.

Though the Bone is rated "easier", many climbers find it more difficult than Jacob Ladder due to its more continuous nature.... it is also more aesthetic. May 9, 2002
[Hide Comment] I agree 100%. The bone is a harder rote, not by much. It's also a bit harder to protect. Aug 8, 2002

[Hide Comment] A two-star 5.4 (with a move of 5.5 in the middle and a move of 5.6 at the top), or a one-star 5.6. Protects well. Aug 1, 2005
