Considered by many to be one of the harder .10's at the Lake, Wailing Wall may be undergraded at .10c. Wail up the face to the right of False Perspective, and certainly don't use the great holds behind and to the right of you on Fat Man's Misery and the Pillow. Steep rock and off-balance climbing makes this climb a memorable one.

Standard TR gear.

The middle section of a jug flake not too high off of the ground (before getting into the crux) seemed a bit loose when I grabbed it my first go. Second time around I used the lower section of that flake which seemed solid, not to mention juggier (is that a word?). Mar 27, 2012
