Description

Clout Buster is found to the left of Lost Face (route 67) in the corner behind the large block. Climb up the corner using chimney moves for about 20 feet. At 20 feet, exit the chimney by standing on top of the pointed block (this should bust your clout pretty nicely, especially on lead). Continue straight up from here or move right onto Lost Face.

Better than it looks! Lower chockstone moves are nice! and the thin upper slab and arete are thoughtful.

Stay right of the pointed block and right of the tree, like in the photo of Mike, in order to avoid rope drag.

A #2 ballnut makes the final step easy to protect, but a thin nut will also suffice. Jun 17, 2013

A very fun route - stemming and chimmneying the three faces down low and a testy move or two up high. Good gear when you want it. Jun 16, 2003
