Kenosis is locate behind the tall skinny tree in the inside corner between Dippy Diagonal (rt# 62) and Sure Shot (rt# 64). To climb, follow the inside corner and the blocky crack on the southeast face up to the pine tree growing from the rock. Either stop here or continue past the left side of the pine tree and finish on the less defined inside corner.

Standard Rack for lead.

I climbed this route again last Sunday on lead and I really enjoyed it. It is a great route for a newer lead climber. The most interesting moves are at the very start and near the top. There is good pro all the way up, and the climb tops out in a very convenient spot, right at the "Angel's Traverse", which is how you access routes like Mary Jane and Jolly Roger (go left as you face the cliff to find these). If you go right, you'll end up in the gully between the Major Mass and Minor Mass formations of the Doorway Rocks, with access to the base of the cliff. Sep 22, 2004

If you plan on topping out this route through the squeeze point beware! If you have any bigger sized waist than a 32 then you probably wont fit. Im a size 32, pulled all my gear, knot, every buckle on my harness though and was only able to squeeze through after unbuckling my belt... All said and done going through the squeeze point was a ton of fun. Apr 11, 2018
