The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that: 1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor. 2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.
This route is on the far left side of the wall, left of Wangerbanger. Climb the face up and left to the arete past 3 bolts. A thin nut is useful above the last bolt. The crux (at the second bolt) involves a tricky sequence on square-cut edges to a big dyno.
Protection
3 bolts and one small nut (#3 or #4 stopper), 2 bolt anchor on top.
