1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Climbs the left side of the plated/varnished buttress, located on the right side of the southeast face.Climbs up to the slanting wide crack, then straight up the varnished face with seams. Maybe one out of five stars.

Protection

Thin to 3.5 inches. 2-bolt belay/rap anchor 60 feet.

I think we merged the start of mummy dearest with the serf city variation. We went up the wide crack and then right to the center of the upper face, but not as far over as serf city. Same comment regarding rock at the bottom. Getting out of the wide crack is strenuous without good jamming technique. Apr 26, 2005

Murf	[Hide Comment] Did this fairly straight up. The wide was a typical grovel, the upper part not for the typical 5.8 leader. Maybe TR this one. Nov 20, 2016
