Description

Start up Lazy Day and head right at the slightly obvious right slanting crack. A few delicate 5.9 moves lead to easy unprotected face moves.

[Hide Comment] I'm surprised there are not more comments on this one. It's a great route if you are in the area. Lazy day/perhaps is a great way to start your day, as it gets early sun. The crux has a very nice diagonal crack that takes great pro. If you can get through the crux, you should have no problem finishing the route. The topout is typical J-Tree slab. The broken band near the top has some decent cam placements, so the face is not completely unprotected. Oct 18, 2021

[Hide Comment] This should have a PG-13 rating at least, if not R. If you fell at the bolts you'd be ~25 feet runout above your last piece at that point and that last piece isn't great. A red and/or brown tricam can protect the last spot to place gear before committing to the runout slab up top. There's potential for a huge fall, and that's IF your piece holds. If it doesn't, you'd potentially deck unless your belayer moves quickly. Best to be solid at the grade for this one. Feb 20, 2024
