Description

The first bolt is rather high, so either stick clip or boulder up an adjacent rock and stem across to preclip the first bolt. The start is undercut, so stem across to reach a good edge and then power past this (crux) to reach a sidepull flake as you mantle the good edge. Higher lieback a creaky flake and finish up with postive patina edges. Two bolt anchor with hangers only, but an easy downclimb exists to the climber's left.

Short with a powerful crux and continuous movement making it feel longer than it really is. Worth a spin when in the area. Two stars out of five.

Location

Down and left from the main Love Nest block is this short but sweet route up a slightly overhanging face that sits right off the approach trail.

Protection

3 bolts, bolted anchor (all 3/8")
