Description

Short but engaging moves utilizing both the arete and the occasional seam are played out on quality tan stone with the odd patina patch.

The approach is steep and mostly uphill, but the expansive views, sense of isolation and other worthy climbs nearby make this a place to explore if so inclined.

The area surrounding the Cowboy Crags burned in a fire a number of years ago, and the charred remnants of vegetation can add an eerie feel to this area at times.

Location

Located on the overhanging northwest arete of the large block directly below Wisest Crack and across a recessed area from Cling Peaches near a dead tree.

Protection

4 bolts, bolted anchor/rap (all 3/8")
