Description

Way too short, but the best warm up of the short routes at the wall's right edge. Go to the right-most edge of the S. Face of the wall, then walk back left to the first crack system encountered. Probably more like 5.4, but it's hard to guess at that grade. Too short to be great. Too bad it's not a full pitch in length.

Protection

A few cams, or a crash-pad.

[Hide Comment] Nice solo, good hand jams, with the crux move getting into the crack itself. Woefully short, but everything on this wall is. Mar 30, 2007

[Hide Comment] Good lead for an old out of shape fart. Usually do stuff like this the first day of a trip to get the feel of the rock again. Not a 5.4 but 5.5 is O.K. decent pro possible with cams. Mar 12, 2011

[Hide Comment] 5.4, and the hardest move is right off the ground (5.4/5.5) with the rest being 5.2 or less. Wolverine guidebook has the grade wrong at 5.8... Dec 26, 2020

[Hide Comment] This is a pretty secure little solo route or a perfect first trad lead for a new leader. Nov 13, 2024
