Description

Look for a right-facing dihedral that leans left, high up on the shady side of Rattlesnake Canyon.

Consistently poor rock makes this a committing route. The crux is straightforward tips laybacking up high, protected by a small TCU in a flare (fairly solid but if it blows, your last piece is 10' down, at foot level on the big ledge). You won't get more pro until you're on easy (but still loose) ground above the crux. Scary but the grade is fair.
