Description

An intriguing route up the blunt arete right of Flawless Fissure. Climb FF to start then cut right and climb the subtle arete belaying as per Flawless Fissure.

The name, for any non-skiers, comes from The Blizzard of Aahhhs, 1988 Greg Stump film with Scott Schmidt, Glen Plake, Mike Hattrup, that took the ski world a big jump forward. Sep 29, 2014
Fun climb. Thin crimpy face to novel barndoor-y arete moves past the last two bolts. I'd agree with 5.10+, it's a bit dicey up top. I thought I was going to fall off the arete into space for a moment.. Dec 19, 2011
Definitely a worthwhile climb on Lloyd's Rock.

One star is reasonable

My partner and I both rated this climb 5.10d. There were some thin and technical face moves near the top of the arete Apr 11, 2003
