Clay, I think you've exceeded your quota for exclamation points!!!

Great route. If you're some tuff trad guy that thinks sports climbing is for girls, get on this thing, and report back. Jul 5, 2005

A trad climber might not get up this problem but does not have to be tough to fall a few feet onto a bolt . Still for girls. May 23, 2010

I seem to recall a pretty reasonable run near the top, maybe 20 feet between bolts, not a just a few. You might want to do a bit of research before disparaging routes... Jun 2, 2010

Due to an overenthusiastic sport loop and the run at the top I took a 60 footer off this thing, about a decade ago. I pulled the rope, left my draws and never returned to the VRG. Go try it, Paul Ross. Dec 28, 2011

Damn Brayne, you left your draws? That must have been some fall...props to you, for real. I am scared just reading the description. I've seen two or three great photos of this climb in magazines over the years and have always wanted to try it, but now I am having second thoughts. Feb 14, 2014

Hey @USBRIT , to say this simply and calmly- there are multiple women out there who will and can climb harder and stronger than you could ever imagine yourself to. I see no point to comment that it's a "climb for girls" being a solid 5.13. The world would be a better place if you could politely get your ego in check. Nov 1, 2015

Sorry "teranicole11" if you took it that way ..not intended... I do get in trouble at times with using Brit humour on Americans ... (I am also now an American) Its tongue in cheek is one way to explain it.. not at all to be taken seriously... but often Americans do who have not experiences this type of humour. Anyway I am sure you are a grand lass ... and yes I have been out climbed on several occasions by delightful lady rock jocks.Best wishes for 2016 and fun days on the crags PS I have never led harder than 5.11 (rarely) and my normal top grade leading is 5.9/10 but was doing that up to I was 75 and having a lot of fun. Climbing just for grades is not what climbing should be about ...I personally think adventure is a lot more interesting than clipping bolts.. Hope the world is now a better place..Cheers Dec 27, 2015
One of the very best routes in the world. The anxiety from the runouts perfectly drowns out the jake-brakes. Jun 25, 2018
