This route is right across the way from Hrum Hroom (on Fanghorn Hills). Look for a steep, crystalline, bolted face with 5 bolts in it. This line of bolts is just to the right of a detached block and to the left of a fist size crack. Climb through the face to a fixed anchor. Also, if I remember right, it might be possible to get to the top by scrambling up a back way. I am not sure on this, however.

Just to confirm, you can hike behind Goldberry Lane and set up a TR. From the back side, climb 25 feet to get to anchors. Route anchors have chain links. Beware of the SMP anchors on the same summit of G.L., they don't look very safe. Mar 16, 2004
A great route that demands attention to details in routefinding. Not as direct as some Needles climbs can be. Fairly sustained with a steep finish...use a rest. Apr 26, 2004
Ron Yahne and Shari Baker climbed the first ascent of this route in 1988. A must do without the normal Needles head trip. Sep 6, 2004

Funny picture. How do you accidently drill a hole in rock? Feb 11, 2006
