Description

Pigskin climbs a line of huge jugs several routes downhill from the Lean Years. The line can't be missed - these are some of the biggest chickenheads and jugs you'll ever see on granite. An excellent first lead.

Quite a fun and different route for Rushmore. You can get a two for one here too TR Foreskin from the extended anchors on Pigskin. May 2, 2013

Found it, started up the correct crack from the bottom but was unsure, so walked all the way around, back through the tunnel N43.88517° W103.46937°, then down almost to the bottom again. New Glonass enabled GPS says we were are N43.88539° W103.46873°. Said accuracy was within 20 feet even though we were deep in a crevice.

Pigskin was a nice easy climb and shared bolts with Foreskin that had one small section of crystal toes and two finger smears. Aug 25, 2015

6 bolts, I believe, protect this route, good anchors at the top. You can TR Foreskin (5.8) and a cool 5.7 variation of Foreskin from those anchors. (Please see my post on Foreskin.) Very cool climbing pinching large fins with good pro. Aug 30, 2016
