The old red BD 4.5 placement in the choss pocket of p5. It's either this, sling a bush, or run it out to the crumbling flake.

The old red BD 4.5 placement in the choss pocket of p5. It's either this, sling a bush, or run it out to the crumbling flake.
Pitch 5. The choss crux gatekeeper. The top of the slab variation out right can be seen, PG13 and maybe 5.9? Out left plenty of dirt under foot, but it's 5th class. Maybe 5.tree or four.

Me starting the lead on pitch 3. Beautiful and consistent granite. The best pitch on the route IMO.
Hoskins Leading pitch 4. About 15 ft below the off-width.
Hoskins leading pitch 2. Squeeze chimney that tightens a bit and lends itself nicely to lie-backing.
