1999 (yellow) follows the gear, corner system and upper dike out left. Thunder In Your Heart (blue) follows the left facing overlap system up to a wishbone point with a choice of 2 cruxes and up airy slab to the top belay. Flat Iron FOMO obscured right.
You don't really need a 4.5 BUT it would be nice lol. BD5 does not fit right where you need it! Perhaps other brand equivalents like DMM or Wild Country will barely slot in during this potential runout section.
Aspect looking down from the point the proper corner and more consistent climbing begins, which is above a section of wandering slab hunting intermittent Pro. Enter from the base over a 15' steeper slab section to this easier terrain.
About half of these nodes won't fit wide cams very well so bring some tricams, totems, TCUs, narrow headed cams, etc
Respect the flora but don't pass up this A+ runnel!
This overlap is some 40-45m off the dirt, accessed via a wandering entrance slab of the grade followed by easier 4th terrain and then a proper corner system up to a shady trad belay station. The pretty victory dike pitch to the peak above is out of view.
1999's upper pitch, the victory dike, shoots directly to a nice sitting belay station following interesting gear pockets, jug pockets, a big runnel, and purely enjoyable with good views. Great for the developing trad leader, fitness, and fun.
