Not much ice as of Dec. 11, '22 - mostly snow in chimneys. Be prepared to climb way above marginal gear for 80% of the route. Maybe more ice will form? We started at 5:40 on P1 and got done at 6:00. We rapped trees skier's right of the climb.

BBB as of Feb 04 2007. We marked the belays and gear used for anchors. The belay on pitch 3 was more convenient above the two pins mentioned in the description.

BBB is the cleft to the right of the Ribbon. Tough to see what's in the upper pitches until you get there.
Soloing ended at the scary looking cicle. Fractured all the way through, it still held my fat ass. As usual, Jack hiked it.
