Saw this weird thing in the cave, about 3ft long. It looks sticky. I did not go near it. Anyone know what it is?

Seriously though, it looks harder than it is. Amazing and huge in-cut holds appear as needed.

great climb. Nice crack in the celling at the end of the climb for an anchor. Save 3 cams #2 and up for the anchor at the end.

Hidden from the eye

A yellow and red hex worked well for anchoring. Quite useful for going fast and light, too.

Climbing The Eye, at Joshua Tree

12 or so placements. Who says no pro? Tricams, offset cams give more options.
