At the stance at the crux. The climb angles left from here And then angles back right to the top center of the photo. This climber approached the crux via the start of XM. It's simpler and quicker but more run out this way as compared with the original route up the left facing corners.
A mediocre photo on a mediocre gray day. I'm near the end of the 5.10 finish. The rope to the left is Rolando Garibotti leading Crossfire at about 12a. I was very surprised when his face poked over the bulge below my feet as I was teetering in fear on the easy ground above the crux.<br> <br> Photo by Luke Clarke.
