An alternate for the pitch 3 "crux" that has some fun moves and protects pretty well. Based on the chalk marks this appears to be a often used alternate. If it wasn't for the plentiful jugs, this would be more challenging. I'd call it 5.6.

An alternate "crux" move on the 3rd pitch that is fun climbing and protects really well considering the route. Great jugs abound making it easier than it looks. Not much harder than 5.6.

A new 2-bolt anchor station installed during the FA of "North Side of the Sky" serves to protect the tree and to provide an alternative descent from the summit of the Maiden to the North. A 60m rope *barely* reaches the ground from here. Tie knots!
