Tom Sciolino down low, March 1981. Note the old school crampons, Whillan's harness, and Hummingbird hammer. My tools at the time were a Hummingbird hammer, Chouinard alpine hammer, non-rigid crampons, and a tolerance for bloody knuckles.

Tom Sciolino on pitch 1, March 1981. He led through the standard belay, launched over the broken column (which fell off completely as I stepped it off following), and brought me up from a hanging belay just out of view.
