On 7/8/15 I took Peter Gersten, age 73, up this route. He's been to the hiker's summit 350+ times and has taken over 1000 people up there, but this was his first trip to the true summit. He'd only climbed once before, 20 years ago in a gym in New York.
One old guy and an actual climber on top of Bell Rock.
Scrambling to the base of the technical pitch.
Final section to the summit. There are some 5th class moves to get to the 2-bolt anchor atop the limestone band, with a single belay bolt marking the start. Makes more sense to me to belay there and do it as one pitch rather than using the anchor shown here. <br> <br>

Middle section of the Kamps Route
2 bolt anchor about 30' up the climb. The right bolt looks to be mixed metals. Hmmmm.
Yes, there really is a bolt with a wing nut on this climb.
Evidence that this was climbed before modern cams and sticky rubber. Those old school climbers were bada**. Btw, this piton still appears solid. Use at your own risk! Fortunately there's ample natural pro nearby.
