I agree with Tony and Rich that this is the 5.9 pitch above The Red Ledge with the airy roof traverse. Super fun pitch, but be careful of loose rock. The block that he is leaning on in this picture looked to be very unstable and probably weighs over 1k lbs. I would definitely tread as lightly as possible on this block or try to avoid it altogether. It vibrated in a way that made me feel really uneasy when I smacked it. I did have to stand on top of it to get in to the hand crack but avoided pulling on it. Jun 23, 2015
This is P3 above the Red Ledge. I was on this pitch April 8, 2012, and the rock did not seem as secure as in the past. The layaway block just above his helmet (75lb) looks harmless with a lot of chalk on it, but it's quite loose and is going bye bye very soon. Climbing by the block is only 5.8, but it would be a very nasty fall if you are not aware of this potential time bomb and don't have any pro in this section. Apr 8, 2012
