Grandpa is a great place to take someone for their first time on Pilot or outside climbing in general. Taking a small group and getting on "Place your bet" to the left of GB is perfect place to walk them through techniques (and grabbing pictures).

On the final moves. Felt very comfortable with lots of options for hands and feet. Used about a 13" sling for TR. Bolted anchor.
The obvious crack is Grandpa's Belay.
