Looking at the last traverse section on the loose dangerous ledge. We roped up on the red section (see topo overlay of this pic), and the rest was 2nd-3rd Class on somewhat exposed ground. This pic ws taken from Casual Buttress.

Start to Lauren's Arete....

Niel following our first 200' pitch. This pitch was mostly easy with some quality .6 near the top.

This is the really view from the belay. At this point, we are probably about 800 ft above the river with massive exposure on both sides of the arete.

Looking up at P2 from the Notch. I went out to the right here then into some looser lower angle cracks until the belay ledge for P3.

Pitch 6, the last real climbing of the route. Belay at a ledge near a tree, then climb the crack in between some trees until you get to a lower angle belay area.

Pitch 4 handcrack.

Looking up at P4, the best pitch on the route. This is the hand crack right of the bush.

Neil following our P3.This pitch had some wild and spectacular climbing through several cruxes.

When you're in the gully before the start, you'll probably see this big boulder (near the bush/tree). If you go to that boulder, you've gone too far past the starting scramble.

This is the scramble to the 1st belay ledge and start of the route.

Exit ramp. It seemed more like 4th than 5.6, but it is loose and exposed enough that it is a good idea to rope up.
