Solitary record in the securely cached summit log - apparently from the FA over 50 years ago.
Photo is from the northerly side of the west face. The highlighted notch, behind the very large evergreen, is the one that Hill's guide (3rd Ed) mentions as the start of the Upper South Ridge route: "Begin the climb by scrambling up to the notch ..."

We finished P1 (P3 of Crujida Fria) at this overhanging perch on the exposed Upper South Ridge just short of the crux 5.10+ headwall.
Following the approach traverse, this is where the route begins to ascend the Upper South Ridge (5.8) - also P3 of Crujida Fria.
