Selaginella Pitch 3 Traverse - 2

Pitch 2. Where the rope disappears is a shallow chimney like feature, above that is a short slabby traverse to the left towards the tree.

The not recommended way to end the climb.

Looking down pitch 3, as you can see, Josh is in the chimney above the tree, when you exit the chimney, you climb face moves under a large block, when you come out from under the block you'll finally see the bolt, the traverse goes to the ledge below me.

The "wild" pitch 3 traverse. This was pretty easy but is protected only by a bolt about 15 feet behind you horizontally. Exciting!

Belay ledge at the top of pitch 1, notice the webbing on the tree there. We opted to setup an anchor rather than use the tree.

Fun but awkward jamming before fun but awkward offwidth on the first pitch. This pitch was excellent and had a little bit of everything.

Gearing up at the base of P1. Big seam in the right facing corner is the opponent.

Alcove at the start, from Munginella we had to walk a bit further then expected. Keep going until you see a well worn area like this.

A great classic line. Well worth it!

Pitch 1: From the climbers position, head left to a ledge with a bush with lots of webbing on it, can setup an anchor in the wall or belay from the tree I guess.
