First real view of the route from the top of the chute. After some exploration, I went thru the obvious gap left of center but I got lost on the other side and came back up onto the ridge at the end of P2. Good solid rock on that cold side.

On the north side of the notch. Somehow I missed what looks like the correct ledge system back into the sunshine. I'm pretty sure I came thru the gap lower down and climbed up to this view. This is the only part of the route that is not clearly obvious.

The start of the XC route to Wilderness Basin from Cloud Peak camp. Bypass the upcoming lake on the left, follow the faint path down into the woods. Stay at the same contour as best you can and you'll reach the drainage out of WB w/o an epic.
First real view of Woolsey on D1 as I finished the convoluted approach to Wilderness Basin. Paying attention to the map would have helped avoid going too high before dropping into the correct drainage.
