Pitch 4 of Sinocranium goes up the steep section. It is the crux (5.8) of the route.

Should you see these crazies climbing, run the other way!!

Setting up the Rappel. I took this picture of my friend while I was standing on the very top of the summit. Walking down to this rap station is very easy. The second set of chains are on the right side of the gully as you face the wall.

Looking down Pitch 2 of Sinocranium. The climbing on this route is similar to Theatre of Shadows, but seems a bit harder and the bolts just a tad more spread out (although still comfortingly plentiful).

Looking down from the top of the crux (5.8) Pitch 4 of Sinocranium. We belayed right below it, although there is also a set of anchors about 50 feet before the belayer in the photo.

Belay stance on top of the hard pitch. Wake up early to avoid the crowds on this route!

Triumphant after descending. Route starts just out of the left side of the frame and wanders right around the horizontal vein.

This is the view above the alcove where the rap anchor is. Go north from the anchor of P6.

Top of first rappel into the gully. make sure to tie knots into the ends of your rope!

looking up at 1st rappel from the 2nd rappel station. be cautious when pulling your rope. there are many cracks and bushes your rope can get caught on!

Looking up from the base of Sinocranium. The first bolt is 20 feet off the ground so it is easy to miss the base of the route and go too far uphill.

This is the alcove for the top rap station. The rap anchors are NOT evident so the arrow points to the location.
