Looking back at the turn in the road from the approach. Meander up the drainage through the aspen and pines to the small ridge and the trail.
The pulloff we used. There is also a nice camping/parking area a bit earlier on. Hike back along the road til it curves back left, and follow a faint singletrack up a drainage to the main trail on the ridge.
