Belay from ledge with dead tree up wide cracks. 40m just reached comfy belay spot on ridge. Almost passed it by going up left side of ridge, had to down climb to belay (red). Might be slightly off route, but made for some fun climbing—piton seemed high.

photo: Mooner<br> <br> Here again you can see the various ridges that you have to choose from at the bottom. It won't be obvious from below which to take, but as you climb higher it's relatively easy to transition over.
photo: Mooner<br> <br> As you can see there are multiple ridges and it's harder than you'd think to tell which one you should be on. Lower down we both felt the one just behind the outermost was the best, and then further up the two ridges join for the really good section.
photo: Mooner<br> <br> The money section - you won't follow the very edge of the ridge, you'll traverse across the face at certain points. The route finding through this section is not too difficult.<br> <br> You can also see here one of the several sub-peaks that sits in between the north and south summits.
The one section we roped for. There was an old piton here and good options for pro if you want them. This is just below an easy scramble to the top of the north summit.
