ARRIVING AT THE TOWN OF SKAGNESS ON THE MAIN ORKNEY ISLAND

Passing the small Island of Hoy on route to the main island ,one gets a view of The Old Man and to its left the massive cliffs of St John's Head.

The night before our ascent, we camped in the meadows along the cliff-side. This remains one of the best trips of my life.
