This is Bill Kerr's photo of the Schwartz Ledges. I've added the two lines we did in 1981 & 1988 - the so called hourglass bypass couloir.
We slept outside that 2nd night as another group was there and would be getting up early. Ironically the pack rats left us alone as their thinking was that the booty was to be found in the hut not out in the gravel.
Dale back on the Roof Glacier neve. No crevasse danger this particular year so the remaining terrain to the hut was hazard free.
