Enjoying the view looking back down the canyon from the top of Zeppelin.
The walk-off makes for an enjoyable to send back down to the railroad tracks.
After traversing the ridge head towards the Anker located you the tree and get ready for another spectacular pitch of technical climbing.
Zeppelin is definitely a gift that keeps giving. Pitch 8 technical face climbing in a setting that can't be beat.
Looking back at pitch 5. A few pieces of gear would have been nice on this one, two old pitons, some tat on a Chalkstone and one Rusty Bolt was a bit thin for protection on the thirty meter pitch. Fortunately the climbing was quality in the 5.9 or 10a range
Not a bad spot to take lunch a?
Business time on the 4th pitch travers is certain to leave a great impression.
Pitch for maybe a short one but it definitely packs a punch. After the overhang continue on more well protected Crux moves.
