This is what I mean by vertical bushwhacking. There are slabs here and there but it's all very broken up and very steep. We keep checking the guide book to see if can figure out anything. We couldn't and just bushwacked
At the end of Pitch 7. From here it's about 300-400 feet of vertical bushwack mountaineering. The "climber's trail" has long since been grown over. Notice the rap slings

Roughly the route. Can only show the first 5 1/2 pitches or so
The left leaning slab to an arete on the headwall is what I believe to be the 8th pitch (5.7+). Can anyone confirm this?

getting good pro may mean some gardening...
Pitch 6 has some really nice clean rock
the "Subway" on top of the 4th pitch in which you move the belay for the next pitch
top of pitch 5 belay in the bushes - as in deep in the bushes! The slab the person is on is in the middle of the bushes
Pitch 4 - go around and to the right of the bushes in from of the ledge!
Pitch 3 after the initial 5.5 slab moves. It's pretty easy from there
